Classifying Bloom 06 and Eiffel 65's Genres of Music

Status:  | Hey guys, I was reading a thread on the official Bloom 06 forums and people were trying to figure out how to categorize the Genre of Bloom 06 and Eiffel 65.
I had this to say:
I have had their music labeled as "Electronica & Dance" ever since Europop. The reason is because both "Electronica" and "Dance" are terms that can be used to describe many different kinds of music, and happen to be the only two terms that cover every song of E65 and B06. IMO, I'm not an expert in this area.
On the bloom 06 myspace page, their genre is labeled "Electronica/Pop/Alternative" but I think that certain songs on Crash Test 01 and Crash Test 02 are the only ones that fall into that category (In the City, Fall, When the Party's Over, etc...). What do you think?

Status: | Now the topic I started is moving here.  I actually only asked Bloom 06's genres, not Eiffel 65's. I already know in which genre to classify Eiffel 65 in: Electronica & Italo Disco. @Oggi: Alternative is a genre of rock music. One "100% Alternative" band I know of is Breaking Benjamin.  Until a fellow member corrected me, I always though that these Bloom 06 songs were Electroclash:
Between The Lines, Anche Solo Per Un Attimo, You're Amazing, Welcome To The Zoo (The Club and Wender Remixes), and their remakes of Blue (Da Ba Dee) and Move Your Body.

I guess you're right. I am still a bit doubtful, because every-time I hear the word "Pop", I associate the genre with groups like Backstreet Boys, N'SYNC, and Britney Spears. Quote (Oggi) I even ran Fl Studio to make smth in electroclash style using real electroclash samples

I agree with him. The beats in B&S are quite light. They don't give off a very strong "beat". @Oggi: Why don't you think that MYB 2009 is "Electro-Pop", like Blue 2009? They use the same beats, after all, no?

It's possible but basically it sounds like a lighter version of TMOH. They use the same intro and beat scratch but different melodies.

far point, but i wont argue, cus im not completely sure bout this.
Its to slow to be dance , morning time is awesome brilliant lyrics and magic music ,one of my favourite songs, but its midtempo with some chillout influences.
