There was a brief (15 min) interview with Bloom 06 yesterday on Radio 103 followed by a presentation of new 'Welcome To The ZOO' rmx (made exclusively for radiostations) and then by E65's 'Move Your Body' I'm leaving you a link to the podcast:
Interview with Bloom 06 @ Dance Attack
Later, when having more time, I'll leave you a brief summary
EDIT:
- An intro to the interview with Maury and Jeffrey from Bloom 06, previously known as
Eiffel 65 - a band that made great history of Dance music.
- Nov. 28th - release date of "Club Test 01" in Italy. later Maury explains what EP is
(in general)
- With "Club Tests" (there'll be more than one EP) they have an intention in
experimenting with clubs and with Dance.
- EP consists remixes made by Bloom 06, but "maybe one day it will happen that we'll
publish an EP with remixes made also by other artists"
- "Blue" rmx made for the 10th anniversary of releasing the single + they decided to
give it a new contemporary Dance sound, the sound present also in their latest
album "Crash Test 02"
- Soon there's gonna be some dates for live shows, among which the closest is Dec.
20th and MAYBE also New Year's Eve.
- Next single: "Between the lines" + video
- Exuipment that they're using the most: Moog and (something that I can't figure out
from the podcast) Artudia(?)
- Maury has bought recently a blue electric Moog Voyager
- Future of Dance: "It had its past, it has its present and it will have its future. We
have a strong need for dancing and that is why we dance everything that is
danceable.
- Greetings in English and Sicilian.
- Presentation of "Welcome to the ZOO" special rmx made for some radiostations. The
remix was made some weeks ago and hasn't been released yet and because Radio
103 is collaborating with Bloom 06 it has access to this version, which may be a bit
difficult to find.
